Internal Shadow is a metal band out of North Carolina bringing relentless energy, modern aggression, and a DIY spirit to everything they do. Formed in 2023, the band features Tyler Gordon on vocals, Lucas Polk and Cameron Belcher on guitars, Matt Taylor on bass, and Brian Webb on drums. Their sound channels the raw power of bands like In Flames and The Agony Scene, with a tight, crushing live show built from the ground up.

The name Internal Shadow represents that dark voice in your head, a symbol of personal struggle, mental battles, and the fight to rise above. From recording and releasing their own music to producing their own music videos and building immersive light-driven performances, the band handles everything themselves. They are not just performers, they are builders of their own path.

Off stage, they are five blue-collar guys who lift weights, camp, crack jokes, and share beers around the fire. Three members proudly served in the Marine Corps, Army, and Navy. Focused on growth, connection, and impact, Internal Shadow is pushing forward with grit, purpose, and zero compromise.
